Cool site that recomends books to read based on the book you searched for. I tried a couple of searches and found that its recomendations were pretty accurate and correct (I had already read some of the books it recommended and had liked them)

Introduction to the world of Unix spell casting

Unix for the Beginning Mage is really good book that explains the concept of Unix is a very interesting way. It is available both for free as a PDF file and as a hardcopy version.

Even though I have been working with Linux/Unix systems for a while I enjoyed reading it and a more advanced version of the book is in the works.

In the mean time check out the beginner’s version.

Converting IP address to Geolocation

Filed under: Interesting Sites — Suramya @ 12:55 AM

This site allows you to geolocate IP’s in bulk so that you can know where in the world a given IP address is located.

Note that might not be that accurate. For example I am currently in california but my IP address is showing up as being from Ohio. Probably recause this IP range is registered to some company in OH.
