This is going to be my last post about harry Potter for a while. I have been talking about it enough to bore both of us with it. Plus I am not even a fan…

Anyways here is a major spoiler about the ending of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows:

  1. Who decides which books get press (Harry Potter) and which get censored? After all, censorship is becoming America’s favorite past-time. The US gov’t (and their corporate friends), already detain protesters, ban books like “America Deceived” from Amazon and Wikipedia, shut down Imus and fire 21-year tenured, BYU physics professor Steven Jones because he proved explosives, thermite in particular, took down the WTC buildings. Free Speech forever (especially for books).
Last link (before Google Books caves to pressure and drops the title):

  2. Well I am not for conspiracy theories but I agree with free speech thats why I approved your comment after a lot of deliberation. This doesn’t mean that I agree with your theory that the WTC was demolished using thermite though.

I think its the consumers along with the media which decides what gets press and what doesn’t. If the consumer is not interested in something it would become harder for a govt or media to push something at them. It might work for a short time but in the long run if the interest is not there then the hype will die down.
