So much to say but how to word it…

Have you ever had the feeling that you have so much to say and yet when you start typing it doesn’t quite come out right? Thats pretty much what I have been doing for the past few days whenever I try to update my blog. Right now I have 6 posts sitting in various stages of drafts that I still have to complete. A couple of them are basically crib sessions about various applications I use. The remainder are my thoughts on stuff that I experience or read about. Lets see if I can get them to a stage where they make ‘some’ sense so that I can post them. No promises though.

On the other hand, I have been reading up a lot. I got my hands on a lot of old Target Dr Who novels and though I have read most of them earlier its been fun reading them again after such a long time. These novels are basically novelizations of the Doctor Who episodes from the 60’s till the 80’s. I read most of them when I was about 14 – 16 years old at various libraries I frequented. So far its been a awesome trip down the memory lane. This also started me on rewatching old Dr Who episodes. I have started off with the 9th Doctor ’cause after the 4th he is a close contender for the 2nd place.

Before that I was reading ‘Anti-Grav Unlimited’ by Duncan Long which is available as a free ebook from the Baen Free Library. It is a good book with a simple but engaging plot. Great fun to read. Its basically about this guy who invents anti-gravity (AG) rods and the government/corporations that rule the world try to kill him to stop him from telling anyone about his discovery so he runs away with his girl-friend. Now humans had bases on the moon in this universe but they had been abandoned so the both of them outfit an old van with the AG rods and purchase some old spacesuits from surplus space equipment sales and go and hide on the moon in one of the abandoned bases. The story then gets better when they try to get the word out about this without getting killed. I can’t tell you much more without possibly spoiling the book, so do check it out. I think Mr. Ducan has made it to my Must Read Author’s list.

Well this is all for now. Will post more later.
