The Last Centurion
Includes a final and five cover roughs. Digital art created in 3D max, Poser, Bryce and Photoshop. The one with the Striker, Abram and Bradley over a wheat field and a soldier wearing a centurion helmet was the chosen one. Later the graphic designer blackened out the farmland to fit with the mainstream market look.

Honor of the Clan
Includes eight cover roughs and ten 3D concept model of Mike O’Neal Troglodyte armor and the ACS troop armor. This cover was created without a manuscript and I worked closely with John Ringo and Toni Weisskopf for details and concept idea. The ten 3D model concepts were submitted to Toni and Ringo for perfection and accuracy of the armor. Mediums used: 3D max, poser, Bryce and Photoshop with a Wacom tablet.

R-1 cover rough was created in 3D max, Poser 7, Bryce 6 and a finish touch in Adobe Photoshop with a Wacom tablet. The Dreen dog-demon were modeled in 3D max and collaborated with Sanctum Art, Inc. and later imported into Bryce 3D. Purple crab spiders were modeled in Poser and later imported into Bryce 3D. The interior of the Tum Tum Tree ship was modeled in Bryce. After all imports and some environment adjustment a final render was made for Photoshop to add that last finish touch.

Dog-Demon

R-2 cover rough was created in Bryce 3D and Photoshop. Tum Tum Tree is a 3D model, which can be rotated on its axes as well as the Vorpal Blade ship.

Tum Tum Tree

R-3 cover rough was created in Poser, Bryce 3D and Photoshop. Miriam was created in Poser and if this would have been the chosen rough I would line up a photo session with John Ringo’s girlfriend for the final cover.
